You did an astounding job on this. It's hard to even tell it's done traditionally, the marks that are usually so appearant aren't even visable here. The vibrant colors coupled with the dull background really help the piece stand out as well.

The perspective you choose was also a good way to make the picture more dynamic. And all of the little details you put into every piece of this picture make it look much more realistic as well. I'd have to say this is one of the most beautifully done traditional animal works I've ever seen.

Lastly, the feathers have that very 'textured' feeling to them. The different sizes and layers also help with the realism effect. I respect your artistic talent, and wonderful technique.
