Excellent work with the attention to detail in shading and work with all the individual scales and spines! Elynsa's expression looks perfectly serene and friendly, matching the title perfectly! The contrast in color is also well done, the blue and silver scales stand out well against the warmer background colors, bringing the piece together very well. The shading remains consistent throughout the entire piece, and the highlighting matches the background perfectly, both of which are usually difficult to achieve.

I adore the textures used on the neck scales, the small cracks in the plates and skeletal detail in the horns are a wonderful touch that gives a semi-realistic look to the dragon. Although the cut-off of the neck is rather abrupt, =dawndelver did well to not draw much attention o that area, the main focus of the viewer remaining on the upper half and most important part of the picture, the dragon's face.
